WD1000HPT The Next Generation of High Power Tools

The WD 1000HPT station features Weller's new 120 W soldering iron, the WP 120.This iron is ideal for soldering on difficult circuit boards with heat sinks that cause dissipation in heat transfer. Weller® Zero-Smog® Volume Fume Extraction System WFE2ES

Our testing conclusively proves that soldering with lead-free alloys creates a level of breathable airborne pollutants which exceeds the safety threshold set by OSHA(see diagram). Weller has a viable solution for use in applications where volume extraction is the most suitable option, ie. solder baths, hot air soldering, micro soldering, and adhesive applications.
